According to Ayurveda, everything in the Universe is composed of 5 elements: earth, water, fire, air and ether. The human body is similarly composed of these 5 elements – the body and mind reflect the greater Universe. We are a microcosm of the macrocosm so when the seasons change it is important to change what we eat!

“I learned a great deal and had lots of fun at the same time. I have also felt great since eating the Ayurvedic meals which I now cook almost everyday. The best surprise was my family’s reaction to the change in diet, they all enjoy typical Western food with meat at every meal, so I was a bit worried introducing the new dishes………..but they now request the vegetarian meals! My whole attitude to cooking has changed and both shopping and preparing the meal has become a more relaxed and enjoyable experience.” Jean van Zyl
“I enjoyed discovering a different approach to nutrition and cooking; learning how to make my own ghee was wonderful! I also loved learning about the effects of different spices and pulses on the body, and your free approach to cooking. Best of all was eating this wonderful food, after simply watching it being prepared!” Reville Nussey
