It was an amazing adventure, one that will be stuck in my memory for life.

Our final night, we stayed in a local town called Dhampus. Nothing much of a town, nothing special here, and it is definitely a place than can be given a miss… A damp place so to speak
We had a lovely two days in the quaint village of Chomrong after that adventure and we were now nearing the end of our trip. Today we were heading for Landruk
Day 9: What goes up must come down and what goes down must go up again.
We decided that we would enjoy an outing from Chomrong to the Jhinu Hot Springs and then back again.
There is nothing nicer than knowing where you are going to and what you can expect. The same room, the same hosts, the same delicious food, the same hot chocolate, similar views.
We all made it up and out our cottage to see the sunrise from what is known as Annapurna Base Camp.
If you know where you want to go in life, what your goals and aims are, then follow the path, keep going, take a break when need be, but keep at it, slowly slowly does it. Because trust me, when you get there, it is so worth the effort!
Lesson: Always be open to new interactions, who knows, you might just make an awesome new friend or four
So we eventually made it to Chomrong, the walk there was beautiful and Chomrong was definitely my favourite place to stay on the whole trek.
Day 3: Be willing to adjust your plans and you never know what unexpected joys you might come across.
his was probably the hardest day of the whole trek for me. A sleepless night with a 4:45 wake up call to head off and up (please note the word UP – doing steps UP first thing in the morning is definitely not my strong point!) to Poon Hill.
