Exploring the 5 Koshas with Nina Saacks
When we get this habit of easeful living, life, with all its ups and downs happens. We don’t get wrapped up in the drama, we can see past the confusion and disappointment and we can go beyond. We don’t ignore the hurt and pain, we don’t pretend everything is all butterfly and roses, but we learn to skilfully navigate our being into a space of calm, serenity and honesty. A place where we can be ourselves truthfully and peacefully. A place where we can just be. Where we can be at ease.
This could be simple practices like resting your eyes on the horizon or cupping your eyes, scraping your tongue and practicing neti or nasya.
I must say, one thing that I have improved on tremendously so far is meal prep. I’m the kind of person who used to work, work, work and then all of a sudden realize I hadn’t eaten anything, was starving and then open the fridge and start grabbing what ever was accessible (which used to mean left over cookies, cakes, yoghurt, bread) any thing that was easy and anything that would be quick.
